Harvey Von Strode featured in this year’s walking treasure hunt

Twenty three teams took part in our treasure hunt this year. We’d firstly like to say a huge thanks to those who supported us with last month’s more unusual hunt, and secondly an even bigger thanks for nearly £100 of donations.

But the biggest praise goes to the team who scooped the top spot, losing out to a perfect result by just one point with their score of 65. Cue hand clap for The Linhams who won this year’s hunt, and have become accustomed to winning our annual treasure hunts. There was a three-way tie for second place between The Eversons, Biddler and Wandering Stars who all bagged 63.5 points, and Parsonsknows came in third with 62.5 points. A full list of results is below.

This year’s hunt was an unusual one as we continue to face restrictions due to the coronavirus. While in previous years we have run the hunt as a fundraiser, this year’s was free although we were happy to accept donations. So we were delighted when teams raised almost £100 for our Society, at a time when theatre and the arts is appealing for much-needed financial support. Thanks to all those who took part and donated.
